Interweaving

Archive is the annual summation of the creative works of UPH’s Architecture deparment, assembled as a portfolio and a reflective media of the learning/teaching prosess throughout the year. Understanding the process of interweaving in design process is part of and introduction to an understanding oc architecture as part of multi-layered process connected to human life. Within the context of Jakarta/Indonesia, the issue of interweaving becomes an appropriate framework to discuss the works produced during 2008-2009 teaching year.

While proceeding with an understanding that reach course of architecture study acceps a certain rules needed to create a well-executed design, students are encourage to find the potential in their projects to respond an thread multi-faceted and sometimes interdiciplinary issues. With this approach to architecture, we hope to see rich tapestry of ideas in the studion projects that may inspire and create a creative vision of knowledge.
